Defining Setup Orientation in Toolpath and Fusion
How to define and edit machining directions in Toolpath reports and Fusion setups
Setup directions can be edited in either Fusion or Toolpath. Please see the video above for a brief overview of how to edit setup directions in either workflow.
In Toolpath, setups can be enabled or disabled, and reordered.
When setups are sent from Fusion, Toolpath will respect all setup information (model and stock definitions, WCS location and orientation, and fixtures).
Toolpath currently supports 3 axis milling, so all machining directions will create a setup. If you are interested in learning about the beta, in development, early stages 3+2 features available, please see the video below. Please note that these are early stage features that are not publicly released and are subject to change as development continues.
