How to Recalculate a Program

Recalculate programs after making changes to Tool Libraries or Cut Configs to update your machinability analysis results

If you make changes to a tool library or Cut Config, Toolpath needs to recalculate existing parts to reflect these changes.

If you are receiving an error when exporting to Fusion that states "The program you are trying to pull into Fusion is too old...", you will need to recalculate the part.

To recalculate a program in Toolpath, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Open the part you want to recalculate.
  2. Select the Cut Config you want to use to recalculate the part in the upper right hand corner.
    selectcutconfig
  3. Click the vertical ellipse in the top right hand corner and select "Recalculate".
    recalc2
  4. Toolpath will recalculate the part and update the machinability analysis to account for any tool library or Cut Config changes made since the part was last run.
