How to Sign Up for a Free Trial

Get started quickly with a 14 day free trial and explore the Toolpath platform. We're standing by to help you get started.

To start a 14 day free trial of Toolpath, please follow the directions below:

  1. Click on Free Trial in the upper right hand corner at toolpath.com
  2. Fill out the required form fields:

  3. Select Sign up.
  4. After selecting Sign Up, you will enter the Parts workspace in Toolpath and begin your 14 day free trial.

To get started with Toolpath, check out the sample parts and observe the results with the Default and Starter Demo Cut Configs. You can switch between cut configs in the upper right hand of Toolpath as shown below:

The Default Cut Config includes a large tool library with all standard size and long reach end mills. Use the Default Cut Config to determine "is this part machinable with tools that I could find and order?"

The example below is fully machinable using the Default Cut Config, with some modified features:

Click into the modified features to see why Toolpath could not machine these to the model geometry with the Default Cut Config:

The Starter Demo Cut Config represents tooling that is likely to live in machine tool changers - 1/16" through 1/2" standard end mills, a couple standard size drills, and chamfer tools. Use the Starter Demo Cut Config to determine "could I make this part with the basic tools that I have in my machine now?"

The example below includes geometry that Toolpath can not machine with the smaller Starter Demo Cut Config. This smaller library does not have the high L/D ratio tooling to machine the tight fillets in the central pockets, is missing some drills for the hole sizes, and does not include a keyseat cutter:
