How to Upload a Tool Library

Toolpath delivers Manufacturability Reports based on part geometry and the tools you have available in your shop to give the best estimates for your unique machining capabilities.

To ensure accurate results, upload your Fusion Manufacture Tool Libraries to Toolpath using the instructions below:

  1. Export your Fusion Tool Library by right clicking it and selecting Export library:

  2. Select .JSON for the export file format and click Save:

  3. Open Toolpath in a web browser and go to the Tool Libraries page.

  4. Once in the Tool Libraries page, you can:
    1. Click the arrow next to the Create button and select Tool Library to open Finder (Mac) or File Explorer (Windows), or,

    2. Drag and drop the downloaded Tool Library anywhere on the window!
  5. After adding the new library to Toolpath, you will see it appear in the list of your Tool Libraries:

  6. You can now view and search the list of tools by clicking on the library name or through the vertical ellipsis on the right hand side.
  7. To view individual tool details, click the vertical ellipsis on the right hand side and select View Tool. This will open a new window with the tool geometry details and available presets.
