How to Zoom to, Isolate, and View Tool Deviation

Use the "Zoom to Feature", "Isolate Feature", and "View Tool Deviation" options to quickly make sense of deviations and difficult geometry

Toolpath provides view options to make it easy to quickly analyze problematic part geometry. These options are all accessed by clicking the vertical ellipsis next to the feature in any Part tab:

Zoom to Feature

The Zoom to Feature command will highlight the feature and zoom in to it in the Toolpath view window. This is particularly useful when working with small holes.

Isolate Feature

The Isolate Feature option highlights a specific feature with an orange surface and turns the rest of the part to wireframe. This is particularly useful with internal features or trying to find very small faces.

View Tool Deviation

The View Tool Deviation option will show for features with allowable tool deviations based on your deviation limits. Use View Tool Deviation to show the tool as a pink cylinder and identify exactly where the allowed deviation occurs within the modified feature.
